Sole Trader or Limited Company?

When you start out in business it is difficult to know whether to be a sole trader (self-employed) or a limited company. And many will wonder what the difference is and whether there are advantages of one over the other.

A few years ago it was said that it was more tax efficient to be a limited company but these days there really isn't much difference in tax savings between the two.

 So how do you decide?

Did GDPR change anything?

Having spent several weeks being bombarded by emails relating to GDPR I am beginning to wonder whether anything has actually changed.

I received emails telling me I had to opt in, emails telling me I had to opt out and privacy policies from businesses I don't have anything to do with. I know I am not the only one who has had enough of GDPR. Of course we all want to do the right thing for our business and I am sure most small businesses were already protecting sensitive data anyway.
